One way to achieve the goal of reducing carbon emissions is to transition to a vegan or vegetarian diet. But for many people, it means to give up their favourite meat-based dishes and specific nutrients within. There can be a win-win solution.

The first step to enable a low-carbon diet is to choose the right ingredients. After choosing ingredients, the carbon emissions are calculated according to how they are cooked. With the information of the carbon emissions level in ingredients and in the cooking processes, you can cook your favourite foods more sustainably.

You can then set a daily goal for average carbon emissions. If you ate above the line this meal, try to eat greener next time and even it out. Plan your low-carbon diet in a enjoyable way!
